We live up the road from this place and had been meaning to try it for a few weeks. When my wife saw they were doing a rib of beef Sunday roast for 2 people we got booked in sharpish.

Everything on the plate tasted delicious. Almost everything was cooked to perfection (the gravy was a little thin). 

The downside is that their presentation does them no favours at all, and is actually off-putting. A couple of small spuds and a parsnip flying around a large empty plate with your meat and other veg in other dishes just doesn't work. Once everything was on the plate it looked great, but before that we just weren't impressed. Because the meat was a beautiful steak, I think there was something missing with the gravy (of which there wasn't a lot, though I am northern). I think it would have benefitted from a bit of green too.

Overall, it was a tasty dinner, but a few tweaks and it would be significantly better.

We went for the lunch menu which allows you to have three dishes. Food is very tasty, well presented and explained - however portions are small. A la carte portions did seem reasonable thought. Drink menu it's extensive with wine by the glass or bottles.

Very good food. Flavours generally quite rich but there are some subtler dishes. Tried buttermilk spiced chicken, pork croquettes, Bombay swede, pheasant sausage.

Bought some wings this aft with the scotch bonnet jam. Best wings i’ve ever had, and i have had many a wing. Cooked to perfection, juicy meat and super crispy batter. Jam was unbelievably good. Thanks team 1251 🙏

Had the 8 course taster menu and it didn't not disappoint! Cannot recommend 12:51 by James enough! Great atmosphere (casual dining). Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. If in Angel or near by this is a definite venue for a special occasion. Well worth the 5 star awarded 😊

Amazing pizzas, very flavoursomes,  one of the best I have tried. Owners are very friendly,  will definitely visit again.

My pizza was absolutely delicious. All attention went to quality, not quantity. Loved it.

Andre and Martina are wonderful hosts and truly love what they do. We a had great time kneeding and then topping our pizzas...we even got take aways - including some of the infamous 'Jonny'! Such generous and beautiful people. Thank you x

Wonderful hidden gem! Went for a pizza masterclass for my friend’s birthday and we enjoyed so much. The unique thing of this incredible place is their owners Martina and Andrea. They will let you feel at home upon entering in such a cozy place. You can bring your own bottle, and enjoy a night different from any other in London. Highly recommended!

The food was extremely delicious, the burgers were juicy and succulent and the meat was tender. In addition to the fries which were crispy and delicious.The service was extremely friendly and fast. I would recommend going there.

Place is clean and tidy. Service was fairly quick. 
The food was brilliant I was able to order a starter, main, side and drink all for £15 which makes it one of the best places in terms of value for money. Good food, good service and friendly staff.

Had an amazing beef burger here. Ordered the raging bull burger which was very juicy and the portion size was reasonable. There was no smell in the patty is very hard to find these days. The staff was courteous and the service was up to the mark. Overall it is a good addition to halal eateries in London.

Visited this restaurant with some friends to break our fast today. All in all an amazing experience. The food was served perfectly on time with both the starters and mains coming at the ideal times to suit our needs. I personally got the dark chocolate wings which were very nice. For my main I got the Raging Bull burger which was absolutely amazing. Flavours were spot on and the beef was cooked to perfection. This came along with fries and a drink totalling a very reasonable £15!
On top of the amazing food we were very well looked after all of whom went above and beyond when serving us. The restaurant was completely full and yet at no point did we feel as though we were not catered for. We all left feeling extremely satisfied with both the food and the service. Huge thanks to the whole team I will definitely be back soon!

Best food on the street market. So fresh and delicious

Cannot put into words how fun this place is. The queue was long, but the staff is insanely efficient and fast. Did not have to wait for longer than 15 minutes. Watching everyone interact with so much life and energy between orders is exhilarating. I walked away feeling happy. 
The food is light but filling and it has lots of heart. Literally, they put oil on the flatbread in the shape of a heart. That's how much they care. Amazing food experience.
Go there, they will take care of you.

Beautiful food and service - had the linguine with clams and it tasted delicious, very flavourful. Lots of seating downstairs as well as some seats outside which is nice in warmer weather. Great atmosphere.

Excellent food. Flavours were bold with the right textures to accompany them.

Friendly & attentive staff topping up drinks all in a cozy authentic Italian atmosphere. 

Suitable for large groups (10+) and also offered some gluten free options.

Good flavours and great dessert - the pesto pasta was really dente, almost to the point of being uncooked, but the rest of the flavours were good! The panna cotta dessert was absolutely delicious.

What a warm and welcoming place! It was a delightful dinner and I'm glad to have come across it. Despite my allergy to gluten, I was easily able to find myself a nice dish and enjoyed it very much. The service was fantastic and the food delicious. Prices were reasonable and restrooms very clean.

OMG. AMAZING. I really wanted something healthy but chic, and this was more than I could have expected. My boyfriend and I split 1/2 chicken, the root vegetable, and fries, with 2 dipping sauces (tarragon mustard and the green sauce it’s minty). Wow! The ambiance is beautiful and casual, beautiful soft lighting, intimate setting. Wonderful service. Thank you!

I came a couple of weeks ago.. Such delicious food! And great service, Eddy was super helpful and charming, he is a credit to this place! Will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

Modernly designed restaurant that serves french style free range roasted chicken with various sides and sauces.
we liked the concept and the sides were really good.
The truffle mac and cheese was wonderful. 
My only recommendation is that I just think they can make it more special with more warm sides .

I was Very excited when reading the menu and the restaurants background on the website. The service was excellent and very attentive, however the food didn't live up to expectations. We ordered the wings, which were average, they had flavour but didn't pack a punch as expected. We had ordered the whole chicken and the fernande salad. Both disappointed in lack of taste, if I were to compare it to chicken shop, I felt the chicken wasn't cooked long enough to give it a off the bone taste. Some of the chicken was still a bit tough, especially on the breast side. On the upside, the Mac and cheese was tasty. 
The sauces were good - gravy and green - however, we had to ask for another gravy as it was cold on arrival. 
I felt the dessert was tasty, however the crumb base wasn't hard enough. I'd prefer it more solid than a crumbly base. 
Overall, our experience didn't live up to expectations as we hoped. 
I'm sure others would have a different opinion, and i definitely say it is worth a try.

Absolutely lovely food and great bottomless brunch cocktails. Really good service and such tasty food. The chicken and waffles were so delicious I wanted seconds.

Great experience, as usual, I had lunch with my 13m old son and he had a lovely time, the service and team was just lovely with us and also played a bit with my son, brought him a bit of food while waiting for our order to be ready. 
Cocotte keeps getting better and better each time and I love this, this doesn't often happen often with restaurants in London.  Well done Cocotte!

The restaurant is near Notting Hill. The main menu consists in choosing different side dishes and sauces to eat with roasted chicken. All very tasty and well done. We chose kale salad (delicious), ratatouille (very good) and truffle mac&cheese (not bad). We missed having some bread to enjoy those delicious sauces. At the end we ate a very nice dessert (chocolate cheesecake). We recommend that restaurant. However, I will give them an advice: the music should be quieter to eat. The price for two was around 40 pounds.

Healthy menu, full of really interesting flavours, above all in salads and veggie dishes. There is not a wide range of meat dishes. Options for drinks are good, including cocktails and a couple of healthy juices too.

I had 1/4 chicken and it was really tasty! You get it with a homemade sauce on the side which was also good. And then the ratatouille... that was amazing! A total of £13.25 which I find a good price. If I was really hungry I would have taken more, but this was perfect for now and still a filling portion. The waiters were also really nice and it is a nice place to have dinner.

As a gluttonous Malaysian, I crave home-cooked Malaysian food too often and this place offers the perfect remedy. Tucked in a quiet corner offering quaint decor and a changing menu, dapur serves up big bold flavours of home at affordable prices. Not to draw comparisons but this place is by far the most chilled of the Malaysian restaurants in London and the staff is always warm and welcoming. Big thumbs up.

Look. The cashier was EXTREMELY NICE!!!! But guess what. The OWNER came out to help out; told me and my 3 friends (so 4 of us in total) that we MUST SQUEEZE ON ONE TABLE MEANT FOR 2. The restaurant was EMPTY - ACTUALLY 0 PEOPLE. He tried to explain to us that each of the table was meant for 3. (which is quite a squeeze) So, we explained to him that EVEN IF we squeezed 3, the other needs to sit alone ANYWAY and we would take 2 tables. He then turns around and says to the cashier who was feeling pretty awkward (with his customers right in front of him) that "these people don't understand" - no bro, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. what in the world you have no customers at that moment??? What upsets me is that this guy spends 0 effort trying to serve customers at all - it's all about HIM. We went in HAPPY and were chatting with the cashier - but left upset and feeling wronged. Hope the restaurant stays empty. Definitely not the Malaysian spirit...

Love this place. Its my go-to splash out lunch once a month. Its basically like stepping into a family kitchen and being served up great ready made great tasting food. 

Pretty much everything is good here - the beef rendang is epic - make sure you have the coconut rice with all the trimmings..  Be warned - you get a lot of food :) so make sure you have a light breakfast !

We can fully understand why MasterChef contestant, Zaleha Kadir Olpin, who also hails from Malaysia, named Dapur the UK's best Malaysian restaurant, while declaring: "They serve delicious authentic Malaysian food in a Malaysian tiffin that’s perfectly seasoned and full of flavour."

The food here is full of depth and flavour, superbly executed, with all the love of any home cooked food. It truly is 'dapur', or 'kitchen' as its translated, cooked food.

It should be highlighted too that Dapur is only open during the weekdays between 11.30am to 3pm. It might be a good idea, therefore, to get there early to avoid the disappointment of some of the more popular dishes selling out.

Lamb curry was pretty nice, not as chilli as I would have liked. Garlic naan bread and poppadoms were great. Also got a meat samosa which was mediocre.

Overall, really nice. Word of warning, their meals are very filling so be cautious of ordering too many sides (i.e. samosa, garlic bread etc)

Excellent  welcome and great food. Post lockdown return to eating out done really well.  A definite return.

After lockdown I couldn’t have my proper dine with wine and friends.!! Yesterday got chance to have dine in here..amazing service and food..this is our third visit but still feel fresh.. they made beautiful gardens with plants and the whole restaurant make a safer area to overcome the Covid-19..the owner was very friendly and offered drinks free.. we will back again and highly recommended.

Been going here for a couple of years now. So happy to go back today after lockdown.  Cutlery and plates freshly placed and steaming hot on our table just before our food arrived. I've lived and hung out in Soho for a long time and didn't expect to be blown away by the spectacular cocktails at Gamma Gamma. Good service. Great snacks (we didn't come for dinner, just cocktails). The green martini for us was particularly amazing. Highly recommend!

Overall happy with the experience. Food was good and interesting (zebra, kangaroo), staff was extremely friendly and atmosphere great for friends gathering (not loud not quiet). Prices are reasonable

I got the bottomless tapas deal. The staff were really friendly and attentive but as it got busier in the evening the food took much longer to come. The staff said we could have a longer allocation though to make up for the wait which was nice. The atmosphere was nice, impressive cocktail bar in the middle and stylish decor. Food was quite nice, aubergine was my favourite, my partner preferred the Korean Fried chicken

Went for dinner on Saturday night, and had a great time. Food delicious and service friendly and attentive. Finished off with a couple of really good cocktails! Highly recommended.

Exquisite dining in a romantic setting. I was very impressed with their vegan dishes, each dish was not only presented beautifully but also bursting with unique set of flavours. Amazing food. Go even if you're not vegan!! It's so yummy. The nachos are so fresh tasting. The burger is great and really filling. The staff are very friendly and the decor is fun!!

Bookable! Prompt service (being shown to our table)! Order at the counter (no need to split bills). Everyone was happy with what they ordered and walked out full & happy! Everything was packed with flavour and very satisfying.  Even the two meat eaters were very happy and wants to make this a regular thing! A great place to introduce vegan food to omnivores!

Ideal start to Veganuary. Really tasty stuff. Came out stuffed so needed to doggy bag it. Would come back tomorrow. A good looking place with decent service too. Eat here as soon as possible, you won't be disappointed.

Went to this restaurant with a friend new to vegan food and we were very positively impressed! We ordered different things as we wanted to try many things: deep fried aubergine and cauliflower for starters, which were delicious. One burger each and a tiramisú to share. The tiramisú was the highlight of the meal for me, and my friend was very impressed with the options and enjoyed all of it. The service was impeccable, very attentive and friendly. The bill was somewhat experience but at the end of the day, we ate well and enjoyed our time there. Would recommend.

A classic! The menu is full of classic Italian dishes. So far, I only had good experiences. The pizzas are really good, as well as the pastas.

Had a wonderful Italian experience here.  The wait staff speak English as a second language. That’s how authentic this place is.  Reasonably priced with excellent service and great food options.  They treat you like family here.

Service was incredible even though the place was swamped. Food came out piping hot at just the right time and everything was delicious. As a foreigner in London, oftentimes I have to season the heck out of my food but everything was seasoned, and cooked, to perfection. Really enjoyed it. It is a bit loud but that's to be expected. Also, very pet friendly. Like, they sell doggie biscuits made in-house. How cute is that?

Good all you can drink brunch. pity the food isn't unlimited too. For £40+ , a bit disappointed with the food, but it is bottomless drinks. For those that are teetotal they do also offer a range of mocktails as bottomless options too. 

As mentioned by the owner. "food" is unlimited. Not entirely true. Sides are unlimited - that's chips and brocolli. That's about it. Slightly misleading to say "food" is unlimited.

Good food, friendly staff. They have a creative menu with many healthy options. The portions are on the smaller side, but the prices are adjusted accordingly. They have lots of events that I’m looking forward to checking out. Dog friendly a big plus!

Great lunch deal for a tenner. Mains with a drink including selected alcohol berverages. Food was nicely done and would recommend.

A very nice night out in the heart of the city with superb views along the Thames.

Lovely location and ambience, great place for meat eaters.  Sole veggie main course was very disappointing -  pasta lacking flavour, texture  and any kind of sauce - very uninspiring.  But the meat eaters were in raptures.  And excellent wines.  So I personally wouldn't return, but I would recommend to non veggie friends.

Very nice steak and chips. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Cool location too.

A very good quality place to experience some South African cuisine's. It is a bit pricy but then again it is in London! The food tastes amazing and presentation was great. Would recommend the Malva Pudding.
They do reservations and if not too busy then you might not need to book.

A lovely meal at High Timer where the food is excellent. Personally I had the cod which was very tasty but most in our party had steak which I was told was delicious. We dined outside on a glorious summers evening and watched the full moon pass the Shard. Starters was smoked salmon and the desert was a superb malva pudding. There is a wide choice of food to suit your taste but if you prefer the taste of South Africa you will not be disappointed. The wine cellar has a large selection of wines and the ambience of the restaurant is subtle African. A very nice night out in the heart of the city with superb views along the Thames.

Nice Indian Restaurant near London Tower Bridge. The food is tasty and economical. The service could have been better. There were very few people in the restaurant but it took long time for them to get the food. And when the food was completed we have to wait longer to pay the bill. But I still recommend this place. Worth the price.

So I came here on a recommendation of the chips, I consider myself to be somewhat of a connoisseur of London’s chips and I can confirm that you certainly get some bang for your buck! They are exactly what you’d hope for from a fish and chip shop, large chips and portions, moist and loads of little crunchy bits in the box, would recommend.

The fish was so tender and the crust so crunchy and light. Delicious fish and chips and nice atmosphere. We payed 45£ for 3 People and thought it was ok for this huge portions.

OUTSTANDING!!! This is by far the BEST fish & chips I've EVER had. Atmosphere is so charming, but it's all about the FOOD! What do they do to the fries?? WOW, amazingly good! I can't say enough positive things about this meal. It's London on a plate. DELICIOUS!!! 5 STARS!!

Good traditional fish and chip shop with food freshly cooked. Big portions and I've been told you can ask for extra big, for the same price as standard. which is big enough anyway.

Me and my husband visit Le Mercury last Saturday and we released there are some changes. New menu is short  but you can find something for everyone. Like always food was good for good price, service was outstanding overall our evening was very pleasant. Will be back very soon.

The added touch of candles and music add to the intimate atmosphere of this venue. 
Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food, great presentation and efficient service even during busy times.

Its always nice to eat here and I would always recommend it to others, especially the duck.

Food was fantastic and is very reasonably priced for this part of London! Had some of the best Calamari I've ever tasted as a starter. Highly recommend the rib-eye steak, duck and pork belly as main options.

Wonderful Vietnamese food, great for a mid-week dinner. The takeway pho lunch options are good value too. Highly recommend. Very friendly staff in a relaxed yet intimate setting.  Will be returning.

What a lucky find!  Dinned here with friends, we all enjoyed our meals (lots of vegetarian and vegan options) including desserts.  The warmth and hospitality was wonderful and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.  Fantastic value for money, no room for improvement.

It was great to get fresh food to have it at the Jamaica Park! Call in advance and the box is ready for you to Pick up without the need to use Deliveroo!
The owner is from south of Vietnam and had explain to me that she have open a Farm back at home and in a few months all the organic production will be for sale at the restaurant.

Little shocked it has 4.6 stars. My partner and I were underwhelmed with the food. We started on a high, getting the mix board and pardon peppers but it quickly went downhill when we ordered the fried aubergines (fried in pancake batter and drenched in honey) as well as the chef choice meat entree- it was a bean and black pudding dish. It was fairly watery and didn’t feel like a well thought out dish. We also ordered the salt cod and it tasted like frozen hash browns defrosted and mixed with eggs. 

I’m most likely being harsh but I was really looking forward to this place. Will probably not come back as there are plenty other tapas places london, just upsetting that 3/4 dishes were bad and we didn’t even finish them. Unfortunately we left unsatisfied. For reference service is good and price is great, but you get what you pay for I suppose. Hopefully they rework some things on the menu!

Nice food but not really with Spanish taste. A bit slow service (we were the only table and took more than 20-25 minutes to bring the food) and a bit overpriced. Nice atmosphere though. Wouldn’t repeat, La Farola (5 minutes walk) is about the same price and the food quality and service is better!

Cute Tapas place with mostly counter-seating. It was refreshingly quiet when we went there. The dishes took a while to prepare but they were very good!

A lovely tapas place in Angel! We visited on a Wednesday night & the place was really quiet! Besides the fantastic drinks and tomate bread we ordered, we were delighted by the presence of a guy playing some Flamenco music! So lovely! I'd totally recommend visiting when around Angel!

Best Italian sandwiches near Spitalfields Market. All ingredients are from Italy so the sandwiches are really tasty, portions are huge and prices are fair.
I love the guys working there, they are always nice and offer me small bites and sometimes coffe for free.
Completely recommend if you are living on sandwiches like me :p

The quality of the food is without question. We had the vegan tasting menu and were very impressed with the depth of flavor and excellent presentation. For the first several courses, we were well attended to. But before we got to the last 2 courses, suddenly the staff disappeared. Temperature control was also a bit off as the place filled up. Definitely a solid place for a very good cocktail and a vegan nibble--they also have non-vegan items.

We loved coming here ever since moving to Downtown (2 years ago) Their shrimp plate is always my order and if you don't eat Shell and Tail then you my friend are completely doing it wrong. It's been a lifesaver this quarantine and makes us so happy. Plus Lee is just one of the nicest people you'll meet, can't recommend enough!

Food had great flavor, was very interesting and different than other restaurants. 4 star is related because much of the food had cilantro which I do not like. Food came out quickly and service was very good. Make a reservation since the restaurant fills up fast.

Great experience here with an amazing waiter. The food was really good too. Just a bit let down as the system was not able to give the appropriate discount so the waiter unfortunately didn’t receive a tip as he had to deduct it off the bill to get the specific discount we were promised. Would recommend management give him the tip lost due to the system’s limitation.

honestly I ate their special about 6 hours ago and im still high off of it. am I changed for life? why did it taste so good, its so confusing. do they have access to secret herbs and spices I dont? I feel disorientated in my life from how much I enjoyed this meal

It's OK... nothing special and not really very Latin American - just a regular pub/bar offering standard drinks. 

Food looks pretty and colourful but tastes pretty flavourless.

The food was amazing and tasty. Also service was very friendly and attentive. Very recommended

Great little spot for lunch! Three options on their lunch menu two courses each starting at 10.50 ... Have had lunch perhaps 10 times here consistently fantastic food excellent service fish always super fresh. Have not availed of the cocktails but those drinking them around me seemed suitably impressed ! We were visiting our son in London, and he had wanted us to try this restaurant which opened relatively recently.  We are so glad we did. Father and son started their meal with the Ceviche Classico, which they judged to be the best they ever had. I had the scallop tiradito which was deliciously sauced.

My husband followed the appetizer with the flavorful Picante Di Marisco , which did not skimp on the seafood, while my son and I had the very meaty lamb shank which was excellent. Service was attentive and prices were very reasonable.

Really nice - considering this is all vegan , these guys are doing great some great work. The chocolate milkshake was actually delicious, burger as well. Fries tasted a bit oily. Staff is very nice and they know their stuff. Definitely recommend, if you are vegan you will love it, if you are not - you will still have a good time. Will come back.

Best vegan burger joint I've had in the city thus far! Mooshies have really simple and straight forward menu, but really good food. The Magic Mushroom burger in particular was my favourite, the sauces just went really well with the fresh ingredients used. The place gives out a very hippie + punk rock vibe, and offers great selection of drinks and soda to go with your burger, or to get in the mood. Would definitely make another trip to try their other stuff.

Had the "fish" burger. It was really good! I like the milkshake too. I don't take dairy, so this was really nice. I am personally not a fan of the "cheese" sticks, as I find them to be too rich/sickly - I believe it's best to be shared with one or two other people. It is worth trying though! The texture is quite similar to cheese.

The food is regularly well prepared and tasty, workers provides excellent customer service. I love the cleanliness and vibes. Will come visit again.
